On 27 February German Klimenko and Head of the Federal Labor and Employment Agency Vsevolod Vukolov opened the morning session of Russian Investment Forum “Labour relations in digital economy”.
The major topic of the discussion was the readiness of the labour market to digitalization. As it was noted, the practice of remote working has become very common among IT-specialists nowadays, there are already about 3–5 million such workers in Russia. With the development of digital economy, this number will only grow. The transfer to a digital format of establishment of labour relations will enable increase in labour performance and avoidance of a range of administrative costs.
The discussion was also attended by the chairman of Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation Andrey Kigim, the Chairman of the Government of Sakhalin region Vera Scherbina, the director for external communications of Rambler&Co Matvei Alekseev and others.
On 28 February in the framework of the Forum Presidential adviser German Klimenko had working meetings with the Governor of Vologda region Oleg Kuvshinnikov, the Governor of Arkhangelsk region Igor Orlov and the Governor of Chukotka Autonomous Region Roman Kopin.
In the afternoon German Klimenko also had a working meeting with the IT-community of Sochi which was held in the format of a tea-party.
