During his presentation German Klimenko suggested that a register of mobile devices, serving to monitor the health condition of citizens, should be created.
“Our task is to move towards the preventive monitoring of health status. It probably requires moving towards the formation of a register of mobile devices, ensuring an effective monitoring of health condition,“ the Presidential adviser stated.
German Klimenko also announced the holding of a large forum for digital medicine: ”At the end of this year — at the beginning of the next one we are planning to hold a large forum for digital medicine, to show everything that we have in our country. Everything is very disparate; we would like to unite them, to look what we can contribute to medicine development.“
In the course of the parliamentary hearings the Presidential adviser also called for expediting the work on a draft law on telemedicine: ”When we move slowly, we waste the time, we allow the competitors to enter our market,“ he emphasized.
“We have an opportunity to get Yandex medicine, Rambler medicine — we are capable of that. But if we continue wasting time, we would get Google medicine, Apple medicine. There is nothing bad about that, we would just be sidelined,“ German Klimenko resumed.
