“The Crimea is most predisposed to the development of a computer and crypto cluster“, German Klimenko noted in his speech. The development of new industrial facilities will require capital investment and time, while the shift towards the IT sector will immediately build the image and reputation of the region. ”Yandex moved to the Crimea alone will make more than a single budget of the peninsula.“
German Klimenko also proposed to select certain areas of the peninsula for single-point crowd investment: ”We need to concentrate, to look for the objects and offer them to the Government. Given that today the crediting of Russia and the Crimea is quite complicated in regard of Western money, the state and the Central Bank are supportive. Moreover, due to the landlocked nature of the region, the threat of the emergence of new deceived co-investors in the Crimea is kept to a minimum.“
At the upcoming Yalta international economic forum, which will take place in the Crimea in April 2018, the issues of digital economy, high technologies, artificial intelligence and robotics will be discussed with the participation of major international experts and companies.
